Lead poisoning is common among workers in industries like battery manufacturing, painting, and welding. Symptoms may include weakness, abdominal pain, and anemia. Similarly, arsenic poisoning can result from inhaling arsine gas, leading to severe hemolysis and kidney failure. Occupational ENT diseases, though less common, are primarily linked to noise exposure. Long-term noise can cause irreversible hearing damage and affect other systems like the nervous and cardiovascular systems. Preventive measures include using ear protection and undergoing regular hearing tests. Many people still have misconceptions about occupational diseases due to limited awareness.
