Before the paint construction personnel apply the wall surface construction, the primary and important task is to clean the wall base. Common building wall coating base
1. Cement mortar plastering surface: The surface is porous, the drying is fast, the absorption is different due to the roughness, and it is alkaline, which is prone to hollowing and cracking.
2. Precast or cast-in-place concrete: the surface is rough, the absorption is strong, it is alkaline, the neutralization time is long, and the surface is oily.
3. Tiles, mosaics: smooth surface, gaps, easy to empty drums, peeling off, return to alkali, split and so on.
4. Water-based paint old wall surface: poor absorption, blistering, powdering, peeling and cracking, easy to mold.
Base surface inspection five requirements
According to the requirements of the coating construction process, the following five requirements must be met for the inspection of the wall surface of the building wall: dryness, cleanliness, flatness, pH, strength, and the base layer washing should be checked before the coating construction, which does not meet the quality requirements. At the grassroots level, Party A or other engineering personnel should be required to take repair measures before construction.
(1) Dryness
The internal moisture of cement mortar, concrete and other base layers gradually fades, and the drying time is directly related to the thickness of the base layer, ventilation, ambient temperature and humidity. The moisture content of the base layer of waterborne paint construction should be less than 8%. Generally, the dryness of the base layer can be judged by the curing time of the base layer. For the base layer of cement mortar and concrete, under the condition of good ventilation, summer 14-21 In the winter of 21-28 days of maintenance, the basic moisture content can basically meet the requirements.
(2) Cleanliness
The surface of the base layer of floating pulp, floating ash, oil, dust, residual glue, etc. should be cleaned. The wood base layer soaked with oil, the plaster base layer covered with soot needs special treatment measures. A clean substrate surface facilitates adhesion of the coating without damaging the adhesion of the coating.
(3) Flatness
The flatness of the base layer mainly affects the final decorative effect of the coating, and the base layer with poor flatness increases the workload and material consumption for filling the trimming. The flatness inspection has four items: the surface is flat, the yin and yang angles are vertical, the vertical plane is vertical, and the yin and yang angles are square. The surface is flattened with a 2m aluminum alloy ruler and a wedge-shaped feeler. The yin and yang angles are checked vertically with a 2m pallet and a ruler. The yin and yang angles are inspected with a 200mm square ruler. The vertical face is inspected with a 2m support plate and ruler. The seams are uniform in depth and horizontal, and there is no missing corners.
(4) pH
The base layer of architectural coating construction is often mortar, concrete and so on. Among them, lime, cement and the like have strong alkalinity, mainly containing a large amount of calcium hydroxide. With the evaporation of water in the base layer, calcium hydroxide is brought to the surface and gradually reacts with carbon dioxide in the air to form neutral carbonic acid. Calcium, if the base layer is too alkaline, it will affect the adhesion of the coating, and will also cause quality problems such as discoloration, powder loss, and shedding. Therefore, it is necessary to control the pH of the base layer leopard, and the pH value of the base layer of the coating construction should be less than 9; the method of measuring the pH value is to wet the wall surface with water and then measure with a pH test paper.
(5) Intensity
The strength of the base layer is related to the type of the base layer. Generally speaking, the strength of the concrete base layer is high, the mortar, plywood and fiberboard are in the middle, the strength of the gypsum board is low, and the strength of the base layer is too low, which may affect the adhesion of the paint. If the base layer has powder, sand, hollow, cracking, cracking, peeling, etc., the base layer is an unqualified base. The plaster of the cement mortar base should meet the requirements of high-grade plastering. The surface should be smoothed, compacted, and the color is consistent. There is no brush pattern, and the plaster is flattened.
