Definition and classification of plate chain conveyor equipment
The chain conveyor transports the workpiece to be transported on the transport panel. Sometimes the transport panel is accompanied by a process support device. Structure and composition of the chain conveyor equipment
Main components: mechanical parts include conveyor chain, conveyor chain plate, conveyor track, drive unit, tensioning device and frame; electronic control part includes programmable logic controller (PLC), frequency converter, electric control cabinet assembly and conveying Machine chain self-lubricating equipment, etc.
Conveyor chain
In order to reduce the friction coefficient and prevent creep, the roller is mounted in the form of bearing (see Figure 1). The chain is manufactured according to GB8350-1987 standard, and the chain pitch is 250mm. In the chain structure, in the middle section of the chain, the weight of the car body is supported on the roller, the friction coefficient of the rolling bearing is small, and the tension of the chain is small. At the drive of the chain, the sprocket drives the position of the sleeve in the middle of the chain, which is sliding friction and has a large bearing capacity.

2. Conveyor chain
The conveying plate is cold drawn from 8mm steel plate and fixed on the chain by the hexagon socket head screw (see Figure 2).

3. Rack
The frame-chain conveyor frame has a drive frame, a tension frame, an intermediate frame and a circular section transition bracket.
(1) Drive tensioning frame It is welded by steel, and the main force direction is added with diagonal bracing, which can provide sufficient strength and rigidity. The foot is adjustable height and easy to install (see Figure 3).

(2) Intermediate frame The frame is welded by steel (see Figure 4). The upper rail is welded with 16Mn flat steel on the channel steel to ensure sufficient wear resistance; the lower rail is welded by angle steel and the frame, and is made into a 6m standard section. The intermediate skeleton structure of the structure is simple, the strength and rigidity are ensured, and the installation is simple.

4. Drive unit
The drive station adopts a reducer direct-coupled variable frequency motor, which has a simple structure and is safe and reliable to use (see Figure 5). A tensioning mechanism is provided to facilitate the adjustment of the chain tension.

5. Tensioning device
The tensioning device uses a sliding bearing seat to support the tensioning shaft, and the screw spring is tensioned. This is a mature structure that is used in large quantities in slat conveyors.

Arrangement and selection criteria of plate chain transportation
Arrangement
1) Select and determine the layout of the chain conveyor, the following should be considered: the process requirements (route, load carrying, tempo, etc.) must be met; under the premise of meeting the process requirements, the simplest arrangement (stress, Cost, etc.; The relationship between the conveyor and the related transfer equipment and related professional work (lifting equipment, lifting equipment, foundation pit; rationality, economy, etc.) should be fully considered when arranging; Do not exceed the allowable range of inclination.
2) Several types of layouts commonly used for plate chain conveyors are: horizontal, inclined and horizontally inclined.
2. Selection design criteria
(1) Design parameters and requirements include production program, production cycle, work system, dimensions of conveying parts, quality of conveying parts (vehicle quality m, white body quality), station length A (meter), number of effective stations n Operation mode (continuous or intermittent operation), structural form (single or two-way, wide or narrow) and operation mode (whether the personnel are accompanying, whether tooling is required).
