The goal is to achieve a conversion efficiency of more than 10% for large modules of about 30cm square by 2015.
Toshiba announced in September 2012 that the efficiency of the 5cm square OPV module was 7.7% and the unit efficiency was 9.2%. This time, Toshiba improved the self-developed p-type organic semiconductor material that supports long-wavelength light, and also adopted an inverted structure (inverted structure).
