Today's focus: Who will save the Chinese locks?

The birth of Chinese locks has been going on for thousands of years. The wooden locks were found in the ruins of the ruins of the ruins. The bronze locks appeared in the Western Zhou Dynasty. Metal locks were commonly produced and used in the Eastern Han Dynasty. Subsequently, the style and variety of Chinese locks became more and more abundant, and the lock technology has been a world leader for thousands of years. But with the advent of the industrial revolution, like almost all industrial varieties, Chinese locks are gradually falling behind...
Since the reform and opening up, China's modern lock industry has begun to re-start, and quickly moved from the traditional lock-making workshop to industrialization, and entered the "fast lane" of development.
Time came to the spring of 2010, the world's second largest hardware exhibition - China International Hardware Exhibition ushered in its tenth year of development. In preparation for the 10th anniversary of the celebration, in response to the strong demands of the manufacturers and buyers of the lock industry, the organizers decided to form the special exhibition "China International Locks and Security Products Exhibition (CILS)".
In September 2011, at the press conference of the China International Hardware Exhibition, Zhang Dongli, the chairman of the China Hardware Products Association, and Shi Lanlan, the executive vice president, officially proposed the three-year development plan for the China International Locks and Security Products Exhibition.
Chairman Zhang Dongli said: "China International Locks and Security Products Exhibition should be further improved and improved on the basis of last year (2010), comprehensively and independently carry out publicity and promotion, professional buyer organization and trade matching services, and strive to build domestically in three years. The most professional and influential security exhibition for locks."

In a twinkling of an eye, more than three years have passed since the spring of 2010. It has been nearly two years since the “three-year plan” was proposed in 2011. Looking back on the history of these three years, 2010 is a start-up stage. On the basis of the strong foundation of China International Hardware Exhibition, the parts of locks and security products are gradually separated and become independent. In 2011, the exhibition entered the development stage, further clarifying the development plan. With the goal, the scale and the number of exhibitors expanded rapidly; in 2012, the exhibition achieved a leap-forward development, and the scale and number of exhibitors have doubled, and the number of exhibitors exceeded 500 for the first time. At this point, the "three-year plan" of China International Locks and Security Products Exhibition is nearing completion. The goal of the 2013 China International Locks and Security Products Exhibition is to transform this multi-year accumulated “quantity change” into “quality change”.
Many domestic and overseas buyers are the main driving force for the rapid development of the exhibition.
