The meeting aims to further clarify the direction of diamond prospecting in the North China block area through the exchange and discussion of diamond prospecting experience, to discuss the preparation of diamond prospecting work deployment plan, and to promote new breakthroughs in diamond prospecting. The Shandong Geological Survey Institute, the Seventh Geological Mineral Exploration Institute of Shandong Province, the Sixth Geological Team of Liaoning Province, and the China Land and Resources Aviation Remote Sensing Center respectively made progress on the prospecting work of diamonds in Shandong Province and Liaoning Province, as well as the next step of work and aviation geophysical methods. The contents of the diamond prospecting work and other contents were reported and exchanged.
The meeting pointed out that accelerating the implementation of diamond prospecting is an important task of mineral prospecting. The China Geological Survey should give full play to the basic role of public welfare, consolidate the foundation of diamond prospecting, give play to the role of science and technology and support the business, and carry out exploration and demonstration. Research on tackling problems, solving difficult geological theoretical problems and exploration key technologies that restrict diamond prospecting, increasing the intensity of abnormality verification and mineral exploration, and providing a number of backup bases for further exploration. Through the preparation of the national diamond prospecting program to guide the deployment of diamond prospecting work, and strive to achieve a new breakthrough in diamond prospecting.
The meeting showed that in recent years, the diamond prospecting work in North China has made important progress, especially in Shandong Province, relying on the “Shandong Province Diamond Mine Resource Potential Evaluation†project, the province has a total of 28 diamond minimum prediction areas and 11 predicted work areas, adding diamonds. With a resource of more than 1.6 million carats, it has important demonstration significance for the next diamond prospecting work in North China.
From China Geological Survey, Tianjin, Shenyang, Nanjing, Wuhan Geological Survey Center, China Land and Resources Aviation Remote Sensing Center, Shandong Provincial Department of Land and Resources, Shandong Provincial Geological Survey Bureau, Liaoning Provincial Geological Survey Bureau, Linyi City Land and Resources Bureau, Shanxi, More than 50 expert representatives from nearly 20 units including Shandong and Henan Geological Survey Institutes, Shandong Province Seventh Geological Mineral Exploration Institute and Liaoning Sixth Geological Brigade attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Tianjin Geological Survey Center, Shandong Geological Survey Institute, Shandong Province. The Seventh Geological and Mineral Exploration Institute of the Province was undertaken. During the meeting, the delegates visited the Jinbei Liyan Pipe Group and the Changmazhuang Diamond Mine in Mengyin, Shandong Province.
