Solar energy researchers search for photovoltaic technology through the principle of leaves

Recently, how the conversion of nature's solar light into solar energy has become an active research area for solar energy research. When MIT researchers designed what they called "artificial solar leaves" - essentially silicon solar cells and different catalyst materials were attached to each side, and allowed to split one water molecule for oxygen and hydrogen. A group of scientists from around the world said that by imitating natural photosynthesis and using tiny molecular circuits, harvesting and transporting solar power can make light more efficient in energy conversion.

The theory comes from Graham Fleming at UC Berkeley and the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory; Gregory Scholes from the University of Toronto; Alexandra Olaya-castro from the University of London; and Rienkvan Grondelle from the University of Amsterdam. Together, these experts created the "Solar Ray Collection Natural Course" in the journal of natural chemistry.

These experts began to observe at the power station. The antenna complex acquired sunlight and directed the energy to the “reflection center” so that they could implement the necessary chemical actions to make energy efficient. Fleming of the University of California, Berkeley, emphasized that when a lot of obstacles need to be overcome, an artificial system will be designed on the basis of components. "A clear framework exists for the design and synthesis of an objective infinite unit, and Future artificial photosynthesis systems exist."

At the same time, Olaya-castro of London stated that a key factor to consider special capabilities and leave separate energy sources, the energy they use can be counterproductive. “On a bright and sunny day, 10 billion red and blue photons hit a leaf every second,” she said. “Under these conditions, power plants need to be able to use fast-growing energy, but they can also remove harmful extra energy. The rapid transfer of energy in a defined manner is a key feature of natural light collection systems."
