How to remedy after corn lodging

In summer and autumn, sometimes it is raining with strong winds, which tends to cause corn to fall. How to take remedial measures after the corn has fallen.

1. The lodging in the late stage of corn growth and development is mostly rooted. Because the upper part is heavier, the plant is difficult to stand upright and must be lifted immediately after the storm. The longer the time delay, the heavier the production. 4. Strengthen water and fertilizer management. The lodging of corn is poor due to photosynthesis, and the physiological functions are disturbed, which affects the filling and firmness. For a field that only catches a fat once, you can catch another fat. Or after spraying, apply some quick-acting foliar fertilizer to supplement nutrition and promote root growth.

5. Control pests and diseases in a timely manner. After the corn is lodging, it is prone to pests and diseases. The leaf diseases such as corn size spot disease and brown spot disease can be sprayed with 50% carbendazim 500 times at the beginning of the disease, which can effectively prevent the occurrence and spread of diseases. Control corn borer in a timely manner, especially the control of second and third generation corn borer.
