1. Established scientific theories and technical ideas of textile visual obscuration

From the perspective of visual physiology and physics, the theoretical relationship between textile visual obscuration and material properties, textile structural parameters and environmental factors was established. It was clear that light and light-colored fabrics could not adopt absorbing, increasing the thickness and relying on the interface between fiber and air. Light scattering achieves a barrier effect. It is proposed that the technical idea of ​​light scattering inside the reinforced fiber should be adopted to develop a complex fiber cross-section structure with multiple scattering paths, and at the same time, the fiber is finely denatured, the surface is roughened, the yarn is porous, and the fabric perforation is twisted to achieve light color. 2. Innovation uses Mie scattering theory to optimize the particle size distribution of high refractive index powders

For the first time, the Mie scattering theory was used to calculate the scattering state of powders with different refractive indices and different particle size distributions. Different kinds of different refractive index powders were tested for blending and detection of shielding properties, which were corrected by human eye spectral light efficiency curve. After that, it is found that the TiO2 particle size has an optimum anti-seepage effect in the range of 278 nm to 571 nm. This particle size distribution is applied to polyester anti-vibration fibers and two-component elastic anti-reflection fibers to obtain a good anti-transparent effect.

4. Established a visual masking evaluation method for fabrics

It is proposed that the visual obscuration of fabrics is not only related to the energy permeability of light waves, but also related to the imaging ability of light waves. The anti-transmission rating standard was designed, and a method for quickly evaluating the visual obscuration performance of the fabric was established, which was used for the anti-permeability detection of military uniform fabrics.

According to international practice, naval officers and men should wear white uniforms during the summer. In order to avoid the problem of underwear exposure of white clothing, the navy of various countries used heavy fabrics such as polyester-cotton small canvas as the summer clothing fabric, which has poor comfort.
