According to the forecast of Heilongjiang Science and Technology Department, by 2015, the total output value of graphite industry in Heilongjiang Province is expected to reach 25 billion yuan, and graphite deep processing products will account for 60% of the total output value, reaching 15 billion yuan.
The project “High-purity graphite material development and its typical application†is estimated to be 150 million yuan, the Ministry of Science and Technology supports 50 million yuan, the local support of Heilongjiang Province is 50 million yuan, and the enterprise raises 50 million yuan. The project is researched on five research directions: green preparation of flake graphite basic materials and typical demonstration, high-purity flake graphite purification technology and application.
