2009 Annual Meeting of Machine Tool CNC System Standardization Technical Committee at Huazhong University of Science and Technology

The second meeting of the National Machine Tool Numerical Control System Standardization Technical Committee and the 2009 Annual Meeting was held in Wuhan, Hubei Province on March 8-10, 2010. The main contents of the meeting include the implementation of the relevant standards development project of the National Standardization Management Committee's “Notice on the First Batch and the Second Batch of National Standards Revision Plan for 2009” and the work arrangement of the National Machine Tool CNC System Standardization Technical Committee in 2010. Review the National Standards Program Project “Guidelines for User Service for Machine Tool CNC Systems” (for review) and other work related to standardization.

A total of 39 members (including advisory committee members), representatives and invited experts from 29 enterprises, institutions and universities attended the conference. Liu Sen, director of the Marketing Department of China Machine Tool Industry Association, attended the meeting and introduced the industry in 2009. The operation situation and development forecast, Sun Hao, a senior engineer in charge of the standard work of the Machine Tool Association Industry Department, attended the meeting and gave a speech.

In his speech, He Minjia, chairman of the standard committee, hopes that the committee members of the machine tool numerical control system industry will actively participate in and support the work of the standard committee, and promote the improvement of the overall level of the CNC system of Chinese machine tools through standard formulation and implementation. Jin Jian, Secretary General of the Standards Committee, made a summary report on the work of 2009 on behalf of the Secretariat. The meeting discussed and determined the work targets and work plans of the Standards Committee for 2010.

The meeting commended the advanced individuals of the 2009 National Machine Tool Numerical Control System Standardization Committee standardization work.

The Fieldbus Standards Working Group detailed the contents of the Fieldbus Protocol Specification and announced the establishment of the NCUC-Bus Fieldbus Protocol Specification series of standards writing working groups. At the meeting, the framework, system, background and status quo of the machine tool numerical control system reliability series standard were also introduced.
