This kind of ecological and environmental protection glue with China's independent intellectual property rights was jointly developed by the Chinese Academy of Forestry, Nanjing Forestry University and Wanhua Ecological Board Co., Ltd., but the price per ton was as high as 20,000 yuan, while the traditional formaldehyde-containing adhesive Only 1,000 yuan per ton. With such a high price, how can you be applauded in the market? The “green, eco-licensing” brand is not only ignored by the artificial board manufacturers, but also by the average consumer. Can we find a way out of reducing the board cost?

The researchers found that developed countries such as Europe and the United States used cheaper crop stalks instead of wood to reduce the total cost of plates. As a result, they tried to use rice straw, wheat, reeds, rape, and other crop stalks as raw materials. After repeated experiments, this new type of ecological straw board finally succeeded.

“Foreign straw plates in foreign countries can only use one kind of straw alone, but our country can mix and use a variety of straws.” Yu Wenjie, general manager of Wanhua Company, said that this is to store and transport straws in different places and increase the utilization rate of production lines. Enhancing production and management efficiency has great advantages. This kind of straw ecological plate is only 200-300 yuan more expensive per cubic meter than traditional wooden plates. However, at the beginning, the market recognition was still not high enough. Sales were only good in major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Wuhan. Where did the problem lie?

The survey found that people are generally worried that the straw board is not strong, and the concept of consumption suddenly turned a corner. “Actually, as tested by the national authoritative department, this kind of straw board meets more than ten strength indicators, it is harder than wood board, and there are no problems with screws and water.” Yu Wenjie said that environmental protection products are High-tech and concentrated new products need to reduce costs and increase publicity, and require the support of the whole society. Today, people are gradually accepting this product.

It is understood that at present, the market capacity of man-made board in China has reached 100 million cubic meters, and the market potential of straw ecological board has several hundred billion yuan. Yu Wenjie believes that straw ecological plates belong to the environmental protection industry. "Environmental protection industry has a certain degree of public welfare, and it is not impossible for full marketization promotion, but it is not the best way." Yu Wenjie said that a straw board enterprise can solve the problem of crop straw burning pollution within a 50 km radius. The purchase price per ton of straw is around 300 yuan, which can also increase the income for more than 100,000 farmers. It has great environmental, economic, and social benefits. "The government should give more support in terms of policies, give preferential treatment in fiscal and taxation, carry out a strategic layout according to the big industry, and vigorously advance in a systematic and scaled manner."
