Exploring the mode of training excellent talents and developing new ideas for mold manufacturing

"Made in China 2025" regards intelligent manufacturing as the main direction and proposes to build a manufacturing industry to strengthen the country, while the upgrading of manufacturing needs to improve the technical level and the quality of employees, which is highly related to the cultivation of skilled personnel. In the process of mold manufacturing professional construction, our institute actively explores the training mode of excellent skilled personnel, pays attention to the construction of teaching staff, and increases the investment in training construction, so that this major is at the leading level in the similar profession of the Technical College of Yuebei.
1. Professional characteristics are distinct, focusing on connotation development
Since the establishment of the mold manufacturing profession, the college has adhered to the employment-oriented and education-oriented, with the core of cultivating students' professional ethics and professional skills, keeping abreast of the development direction of the mold industry, and cultivating the mold manufacturing skills talents that meet the needs of local economic construction. With its professional activities as the core, the curriculum system is reorganized; the curriculum content is built on the basis of double certificate standards; the faculty team is built with the goal of double high requirements; the training conditions are guaranteed by the integration of industry and education. Has completed the mold fitter training room, mold assembly debugging and maintenance training room, mold ordinary machine tools (milling machines, grinding machines, planers, inserting machines, etc.) processing training room, mold CNC machining processing room, CNC programming training room, Mold CAD/CAM software application training room, mold CNC milling and machining center training room and other training places.
2. School-enterprise cooperation in running schools, with broad employment prospects
In order to strengthen the quality of student employment, the college has established long-term and stable school-enterprise cooperation with many well-known enterprises in the Pearl River Delta and Shaoguan. The school has established a school in Guangdong Shunyi Precision Mould Co., Ltd., Hitachi Automotive System Components (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., Shaoguan Zhengan Machinery Industry Co., Ltd., Shaoguan Hongda Gear Co., Ltd. and Rising Sun International (Shaoguan) Co., Ltd. Cooperate with training bases, and employ enterprise industry experts to jointly develop practical training projects, prepare practical training project school-based textbooks, etc., and deepen the cooperation between school and enterprise, promote professional talent training model innovation, curriculum system reform, teacher team construction, and training base construction. Initially realized the "five docking", that is, talent training and docking enterprise demand, professional docking industry, curriculum docking position, teaching material docking skills and learning process docking work process, and achieved remarkable results.
3. Continuous innovation and development, and strive to develop new ideas for mold manufacturing
In order to keep up with the pace of the times and constantly maintain professional and technological innovation, the college attaches great importance to the construction of teachers. On the one hand, it adheres to the "please come in" way, and invites professional and technical education experts, industry experts with practical experience, and enterprise engineering through cooperation with universities and enterprises. Technicians and social craftsmen come to the school for lectures, training or part-time teachers to improve the structure of the teaching staff, bring the new ideas and new technologies of the enterprise into the college; on the other hand, adhere to the "going out" way, and have selected two in the past three years. A professional teacher went to Germany for training, learning advanced teaching concepts, teaching models, educational teaching methods and advanced curriculum development techniques, broadening horizons and enhancing the integration of teaching resources. Other professional teachers arrange relevant enterprises to participate in production practice, technical research, and improve teachers' product design, research and development, and process analysis capabilities. Improve the practical operation and guidance of professional teachers by participating in competitions and guiding competitions. The use of resources inside and outside the school to cultivate teachers' professional ethics, improve teachers' moral education work ability, professional teaching ability, training and guidance ability, and training to achieve the improvement of the "double-type" quality of full-time teachers. For the mold manufacturing profession, we will create a high-level faculty with high quality and product research and development capabilities, process analysis capabilities, skill competition guidance skills and high-skilled personnel training capabilities to enhance professional sustainable innovation development.
4. Fit the social situation and meet new challenges
“Made in China 2025” requires a large number of high-quality talents with the latest technical skills to support. It can be seen that skilled talents, especially high-skilled talents, determine the realization of the goal of “Made in China 2025”. At present, “Made in China 2025” has brought new opportunities and new situations. Our school has launched a special campaign to support the “Made in China 2025” talent training. Keeping pace with the cutting-edge development trend of advanced manufacturing industry, grasping the direction of machine substitution, intelligent processing, and traditional manufacturing technology upgrade, we have increased capital investment in this school year, and took the lead in creating "three training centers" in CNC and mold manufacturing. "Two advanced technologies." “Three training centers” refer to industrial robot maintenance training center, industrial robot application training center, jewelry design and production training center; “two advanced technologies” refer to industrial design 3D printing technology and rapid mold making technology. Through the construction of three training centers, two advanced technology projects, and the implementation of teaching, we will enhance the development of professional sustainable innovation, enhance students' professional ability, strengthen industrial basic capabilities, improve process level and product quality, and promote smart manufacturing and green manufacturing. "Made in China 2025" is in line to meet the needs of enterprise development and employment.
