It is understood that the previous on-line standards for Jingdong Furniture include 30,000 yuan deposit, qualification review, product review, etc. After the children's home hall is launched, the 30,000 yuan guarantee threshold will be raised to 50,000 yuan on the basis of previous standards. A standard review is required and regular sampling is required. Jingdong said that among the first batch of enterprises participating in the judging, the children's furniture brands such as Songbao Kingdom, Colorful Life and Happy Station have passed the audit.
Online shopping for children's furniture is the hardest hit by product quality issues. In March this year, the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Industry and Commerce released the quality inspection of children's furniture. The pass rate of online samples was only 20%. The main problems were concentrated on the excessive levels of harmful substances and the lack of warning signs. Jingdong said that the standard will focus on the monitoring of children's furniture safety risks such as formaldehyde and heavy metals in children's furniture products, structural safety, warning signs and other safety risks.
