Citizen Watch & Clock Co., Ltd. will be launching a new model of the spindle-moving NC automatic rotary bed series from November 15, 2005. The new products include the "M12V" with a diameter of 12mm and the "M16V" with a diameter of 16mm. The price is 16.15 million yen (excluding tax) and 17.2 million yen (excluding tax). The new product inherits the "M20-32V" function that was launched in 2002 and adds a variety of workpieces that can be machined.
The turret-type tool holder has added a new Y-axis function. This allows multiple drills and turning tools to be placed in the tool holder, with more tools than previous models. The new product can increase the degree of freedom of milling machine processing, and realize multi-process processing such as hob polygon processing and high-speed machining of bolt taps.
The new product is equipped with 2 spindles and 3 holders, which can be processed simultaneously with 2 to 3 tools and simultaneously processed on the front and back sides. In addition, because the product is equipped with a turret-type tool holder, a comb holder and a tool with the same position as the long SHIFT, double Y-axis machining is possible. The cycle time is shortened by shortening the standby time and the actual cutting time.
The new product also supports the network as well as previous models. The FA-SOHO wireless LAN system can be constructed in addition to the functions of transmitting and receiving fault information, indicating the location to be confirmed when the alarm is output, and monitoring the mechanical status.
